Mixtape Movie Synopsis

12-year-old Beverly Moody loses her parents in a car accident when she was just a baby. Beverly is raised by her grandmother Gail, who finds it painful to talk about her late daughter. After finding a broken mixtape belonging to her mother, whom she never knew, Beverly decides to track down each of the obscure songs on the tape to find out what her mother is like.

The story has a Cameron Crowe vibe in the sense that the music dictates some of the rhythms of the story, and it combines Allen’s character with his dead parents.
